Igniting Action with Words

“Words can not only create emotions, they create actions. And from actions flow the results of our lives.” – Tony Robbins

Words are powerful. Words can make us laugh, cry; they inspire, and motivate us to act. Think, Martin Luther King Jr. “I have a dream…”

Here are some of my top short quotes for those times you need an extra push to get out of your head and act.

“Don’t stop when you’re tired, stop when you’re done.” – David Goggins

“Don’t wait to have the time; start planning to have the time.” – Rachel Hollis

“If you don’t have a plan for your life, someone else does.” – Tony Robbin

“Show up in every moment like you’re meant to be there, because your energy precedes anything you could possibly say.” – Marie Forleo

“When opportunity comes, it’s too late to prepare.” – John C. Maxwell

“Don’t fake it till you make it. Fake it till you become it.” – Amy Cuddy

“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now.” – Chinese Proverb

“There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.” – Beverly Sill

“What is my future telling me to do right now?” – Gary John Bishop

“Make each day your masterpiece.” – John Wooden

“Don’t overthink it, just begin.” – Rich Roll

So the next time you’re having an argument with yourself about taking action, or sitting on the couch and watching Netflix, repeat one of these gems. Then, get off the dang couch, and go.
